AH backup/recovery question

Brandon,
Since you aren't in control of the server, what type of SLA do you have to get data back in the event of a crash? If I'm going to use the journal as my permanent one, I don't want to lose days of posts.

When ezboard was hacked last year, a lot of posts got lost forever and there were several boards that just shut down.

SLA?

My host says they backup daily...I backup every couple of days.

I backup the database through PHP-Nuke's admin section and also backup via CPanel.

The most that would be lost would be 3-4 days at the most. We have been hacked, but the holes were patched...haven't been hacked successfully since.

At that time we lost about 8 hours worth of content.

Brandon

SLA = Service Level Agreement

I guess I can always pray nothing gets lost.
