Can I just apologise

for the Farce that was the Indy F1 race yesterday

I only wasted 4 hours of my life sitting in front of the tube gazing at the spectacle, at least I did not pay to see it!

Still, not as bad a your *pro* wrestling

You should try watching NASCAR. I love racing, but for some reason I can't get into F1 racing.

Hi there Aghst. I just bought a 1971 Triumph Bonneville 650. So far the mirror, the headlight and the ignition switch have fallen off. What a thrill though. The old girl really likes to run and it's kinda' wierd to be out there riding this antique from glory days of motorcycles.

I really have a tough time watching the big oval. I guess it's a lot better when you are there but there is nothing like watching motorcycle racing.

ta,ta for now

Dave

I'm not into the oval either, but I think F1 is more of a street track right?

Hu Guys

Basically, the tyre company for 7 teams (Michelin) made a faux-pas with regards to the tyres they brought and said "You cannot race with those tyres UNLESS you put a chicane before the final right turn onto the start/finish straight".

The FIA (The F1 big cheeses) said "No" so, the teams who run Michelin said "We are not gonna risk it" so they did the parade lap then peeled off and sat the race out.

We have one Street Circuit - Monaco, but I do like street racing

I am being pestered by my business parner to get my race licence (He races a vintage Jag among others) as he thinks we should start our own race team 8O

Motorcycle racing is well, far too hairy for me 8O 8O 8O I mean that IS just madness
